Miles To Go Drug Prevention Education
Pardon Our Construction... We are updating our website and experiencing
some difficulties.

Welcome to Miles To Go Drug Prevention Education Lecture Series

Miles To Go began thirteen years ago as a lecture series for parents, teachers,
and students primarily in private schools in California. Our popularity grew
rapidly with an exclusive clientele of schools and we continue to offer new
programs and opportunities that are as exciting to develop as they are to
experience. Each presentation leaves old style lecturing behind and tells a
story using science, humor and multi-sensory approaches to teaching.

In our first year Miles To Go began a publication called the Drug Fact Update,
which became a popular teaching tool for instructors in the classroom. This
information will soon be available nationwide in two different series of articles
called “
Dear Miles” and "The Drug Guys Tell All." These new articles will
discuss what we’ve learned over the years working with teachers, parents and
students. Our goal is to teach parents and teachers how to discuss this subject
so they can continue this very important communication about drugs, alcohol,
tobacco and human behavior right in their own kitchens and classrooms
throughout the year.

This year, our first series of handbooks titled "
Lessons in Drug Education" will
be available and will correspond with our two parent classes, “
All Kids Don’t Do
Drugs
” and “A Parent’s Checklist of Drug Education.

Next year, the original game “
Myths Around the World” will be packaged and
available for purchase to schools. All three of these ventures are exciting for
us to share; information will be available throughout the year.

Throughout the 2008-2009 school year this site will be updated with our newest
articles from our Dear Miles series.

We want to hear from you, so please send us your questions via email:

Please check back throughout the year to see what is coming.
